A MERRY MELBOURNE TWIST

I live not far from Crown, so when it comes to wining and dining, their selection of internationally acclaimed restaurants and bars, are always my go-to.

With a brand new menu, head chef and true Melbourne-esque interior refresh, the new-look Merrywell Bar and Dining (not to be mistaken for their down-stairs burger bar) is the perfect celebration option.

Think afterwork drinks, birthday and special occasions, all complimented by a vast floor-plan, segmented into chic interiors as well as an incredible panoramic view across Melbourne. My favourite spot has to be reclining in the chic tan leather chairs, alongside the cosy warm fire.

When it comes to the menu, award-winning Chef, Daniel Wilson (of Huxtaburger fame), has created a largely modern Australian menu with a nod to South East Asian flavours.

If there is only one dish you can’t leave without trying, it has to be the ‘bolognese’ - Korean spicy beef bolognese with kim chi, shimeji mushrooms and rice noodles.
It’s as avant-garde as it is delicious
- trust me on this one! Complimented with a glass of French Champagne, Veuve naturally, and you have yourselves a real treat. 

Merrywell Bar and Dining is the place to visit when celebrating with friends, or simply looking for a fun new menu to try.
