My first stop is always Bondi, so from the airport, I pick up my new Mazda2 and make my way to my favourite beach-side suburb. Driving around Bondi and Sydney in general can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. With so many one-way streets and tight parks galore the car’s MZD Connect infotainment system with satellite navigation, reverse camera and rear parking sensors are a much-welcomed feature on this zippy little car.
Before I hit the surf, I love to swing by Orchard Street for a fresh pressed juice - the perfect post flight pick me up!
Now back into the car and off to my next stop – Icebergs. This magical spot in Bondi is as picture perfect as it is iconic. Icebergs is a great place to swim a few laps, practice yoga with a view, people watch or just soak up some summer rays. Luckily there’s a spacious boot on the Mazda2, securing everything I need for a full day out and about (from beach to city), including a few wardrobe changes! After all, a girl needs fashion options right?
After a sun-soaking session by the beach side, it's time for a healthy bite to eat. A hot summer's day in Sydney has me craving a fresh acai bowl and O Superfood in Bondi Junction (only a short 5 minute drive from the beach) has some of the best! A must visit.
And finally, my day in Sydney wouldn't be complete without a spot of shopping. I love to hit Paddington. Boutiques you must include in your next visit are Parlour X for your high-end designer needs, Incu for street-style outfits and of course my favourite French designer, Magali Pascal who also stocks my jewellery collection by Jasmin.
And there you have it - my ultimate way to spend a day in Sydney. Stylish and compact, my Mazda2 was the perfect car for my summer adventure around Sydney. I particularly enjoyed the MZD Connect infotainment system, which kept me connected to all of my social media networks while on the go. I was able to sync up all my favourite tunes with ease, and the navigation definitely came in handy when getting me around the city.
