Following on from my last ‘winter essentials’ post, in celebration of Vicinity CentresFeels like Winter’ campaign, I’m excited to bring you my final instalment of the winter wardrobe must-haves you will need this season.

Any wardrobe is incomplete without a statement leather jacket. This season there is a great range of different cuts and styles of jackets to treat yourself to. An essential jacket for any savvy dresser, this jacket from Decjuba is sure to be one of my weekend heroes this Winter.
Styling Tip
If you’re investing in a statement leather jacket, keep an eye out for a ‘biker-style’ like this one. It is a signature style which instantly adds street-chic to any outfit.

Move over the LBD (little black dress), this season, break with tradition and opt for a signature winter white dress. I found this one by Backstage the label from David Jones and it really is a dramatic statement dress, with off the shoulder detail and a flared hemline.

Styling Tip
Experiment with different lengths and fabrics when shopping for your winter white dress. Look to this season’s knit dress for a perfectly versatile piece to mix and match. And experiment with cream and off white for easier to wear options.

Wear it with denim, tights, skirts, shorts. Every winter wardrobe is in need of a great oversized knit. This one is from French Connection and looks as great with trainers and a denim jacket for a casual look as it does with this season’s hottest over the knee boot.

Styling Tip
Black, grey, white, repeat. Stick to these signature monochrome tones to get the most wear out of your oversized knit.

Shop the look

If there is one ‘shoe’ of the season, it is definitely the over the knee boot. Bold and fashion forward.

Styling tip
Play around with shorter hemlines (shorts, dresses and skirts) to accentuate the over the knee boot detail.
