Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting two fashion workshops for retailer
Myer.
I was tasked with the role of translating key Autumn Winter trends (as see on the runway), to easy-to-wear, everyday street style.
The key themes I worked with were monochrome, leather, lady in red and winter floral. All set to take centre-stage this A/W season here in Australia.
The best thing I found, when pulling together each look, was that in a multi-brand retailer, like
Myer, you have every opportunity to interpret key trends to suit a range of different styles and most importantly budgets.
I love the fact that I can pick up a key
designer piece, like a Balmain or Ellery leather jacket, and team it back with a great affordable pair of jeans and a tee, all under one roof. Outfit complete.
