General Pants tee / MAC 'Lady Danger' lipstick / by jasmin wanderlust necklace / Hair colour Edwards & Co.  Fudge Smooth Shot Shampoo & Conditioner

Because I colour my hair so frequently and I'm often travelling, exposing my hair to a lot of damage, I'm always on the lookout for new hair products to keep my locks looking healthy and shiny.

This week I've been testing out a new shampoo/conditioner combination to try and compensate for my well traveled, colour treated mane - the Fudge Smooth Shot range.

So far, I've been really impressed with the results,  after the first couple of washes, my hair was left feeling lovely and soft and even my dryer ends felt rejuvenated. The product has a lovely fresh ginger aroma (smells so good) and best of all, is sulfate free, which seems to help hold my colour for longer, between salon visits.

If you're ends are a little dry and damaged like mine, I recommend taking a small amount of your conditioner and applying it to the ends of your hair before drying and styling.

I have found that this works really well for me and acts like a deep conditioning treatment.

I'd love to hear any of your hair tips - tweet me at @friendinfashion

OMBRE DENIM

Every wardrobe needs at least one denim shirt in my opinion. I now have a few, so I tend to look for differences in colour and wash. This is my first ombre denim shirt and it's oversized boyfriend style works perfectly buttoned up and tucked into shorts or simply thrown over a dress like this.

It's now just over two weeks before I pack up and head off overseas.

There is definitely something to be said about the 'travel bug'. Once it's bitten, each time you're hoping to visit just one more city, just one month longer. I'm well and truly hooked and love discovering new places, meeting new people and leaving my mark.

Places, people, experiences.

A good hair dresser is like finding a needle in a haystack. Thankfully I have now found mine.

Last week, I had the pleasure of having my hair treated by balayage king and hair extraordinaire, Jaye Edwards, who beautifully lightened my locks to perfection.

Jaye, based in Sydney's Surry Hills, makes the commute to his new St Kilda salon every few months, so now Melbourne girls can get a piece of the action too.

If you are on the hunt for incredible hair, look no further.
