THE DRESS OF THE SEASON

There are some dresses that were just meant to be worn and twirled in...

I picked up this knock-out of a dress from ASOS (here) and I wasn't surprised to see that it sold out almost immediately.

There is nothing that frustrates me more than seeing a style I love, only to not be able to buy it.

Unfortunately I can't help you with this exact dress, but I did track down three similar styles that would be perfect for the upcoming spring racing season here in Melbourne, or any event you want to turn heads at.

#FOREVERWANDERING

'Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open'...

For me, travel is the most magical luxury in the world.

To experience different cultures, different places, different worlds, has proved priceless, and is my biggest source of inspiration, personally and professionally.

These photos were taken while I was exploring beautiful Bali. A place that I'm continually drawn to.

You can see more of my last Bali trip over on youtube (HERE)

THE LITTLE RED DRESS

Move over little black dress...Well temporarily at least...It's time to let the LRD (little red dress) shine...

Melbournians, alongside New Yorkers are notorious for chic wardrobes filled with variations of black. For me, I'm not shy to introduce colour, and this ruby dress is an absolute head-turner.

When it comes to colour, never fear, there is a way for everyone to incorporate hue.

For the fashion confident, have fun, go for bold statement colours and prints. For the timid, introduce splashes of colour through the use of key accessories. I like to style with neck ties, statement shoes, or a bold belt to instantly transform black or neutral outfits.

And the most important fashion rule of all...Wear colour how it looks and works best for you. Take cues from your favourite bloggers, models, brands and adapt to suit your own taste.

Be bold, be brave, and experiment!
