BEC & BRIDGE X INHABIT

To celebrate the arrival of Bec & Bridge to the InHabit space at Westfield Doncaster, I’ve selected my top picks from their new collection to share with you.

The thing I love most about the Inhabit space, is that shoppers are constantly greeted with amazing and changing Australian design talent. Unlike any ordinary store, InHabit is a standalone retail experience that allows designers who are not otherwise represented within Westfield for a limited time only.

As always, I find myself drawn to white, and Bec & Bridge, certainly fulfil this brief. Here are my favourite looks (all available now at Westfield Doncaster InHabit).

LOOK 1
From day to night, the culotte is a statement piece which will see you through spring/summer. This polka-dot print can be worn easily with most colours, but I can't go past matching it with this black, off the shoulder top.

LOOK 2 This dress has to be one of my absolute spring/summer must-haves. floaty and feminine with just the right amount of skin. 70s retro-glam eat your heart out. 

LOOK 3

Bec & Bridge are masters of the bodycon dress, and this one is no exception. A very glamorous evening look - the cut and off-the-shoulder style is flattering on all figures.

From the catwalk to the streets, this season it's all about that 70's vibe...

For me, 70s is a return to rompers and flares - plunging necklines and platform heels.

Bec & Bridge Trailblazer dress at David Jones 

I have a handful of Australian designers that are my go-to, which I'll be sharing with you across a series of dedicated blog posts.

Bec and Bridge is the first on my list. Earlier this year, I attended Sydney Fashion Week and viewed this resort collection. Full of chic stripes and elegant silhouettes, the Due North collection is perfectly on trend.

Bec & Bridge mesh stripe tank dress / vintage leather cap / Mac Morange lipstick

Completely embracing the sports luxe trend here.

This Bec & Bridge dress - an exclusive from their MBFWA capsule range, is truly incredible and works a treat with this vintage leather cap, which I've had forever.

Minimalistic, tailored shapes and mixing up fabrics is what I'm all about at the moment.

Move over little black dress, for me, as always it is about the perfect white dress, especially for spring and summer.

Unlike most from Melbourne, colour generally occupies the largest part of my wardrobe, but there is something simple and understated about a perfectly fitted crisp white dress, and this Bec & Bridge number certainly fits the bill.

Dear friends, 

I'm a strong believer in keeping things simple, and when you have a dress as pretty as this, a pair of nude stilettos is the only accessory I need.

Picked up from my friends over at STYLE MILK, this dress is simple and so perfect.  

Detailed darting and a full skirt make a beautifully feminine silhouette and the delicate rose gold zip that runs the entire length of the dress adds the perfect metallic touch.
