MBFWA WRAP UP

Four days, four new outfits…welcome to my MBFWA.
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending MBFWA! Here is a wrap up of my fashion week wardrobe.

DAY 1 - STRIPE ON STRIPE
To kick off fashion week, I opted for a bold and colourful look. I took these incredible striped separates from Aussie label MacGraw and complimented them with key bold accessories. This green Furla clutch and a pop of lip colour with my new beauty must have Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine in 'Surreal Sun'.

DAY 2 - ALL BLUE EVERYTHING
Back in colour for day two but this time I stuck to some OTT baby blue. To break up the block colour, I opted for my favourite Givenchy floral clutch, nude sandals and a soft pink lip created with Envy Shine in 'Charmed'.

DAY 3 - 70s REVIVAL

It's all about 70s style on the runway and street style is no exception. For day three, I managed to track down these incredible Shakuhachi flares (my new wardrobe staple) as my outfit starting point. I completed my inner-70s-child by layering some more stripes, these electric blue shades and of course a strong bold lip colour - this time my choice was Envy Shine in 'Empowered'.

DAY 4 - CROP IT
For my final fashion week outfit - I thought I'd have a bit of fun contrasting prints and patterns. I love to mix, match and clash! So I styled this Clover Canyon neo-prene crop, with this stripe skort. I decided to keep my accessories to a minimum for this look, with Classic Chanel and a nude lip (Envy Shine - 'Discreet') for the perfect finishing touches.

And there you have it - my fashion week wardrobe all wrapped up!
Which was your favourite look?

I've had the good fortune of staying in some pretty unique and incredible places around the world, but never one quite like this...

Picture this, sunshine beaming, water glistening, flying into a stunning Sydney Harbour, then heading straight onto your own luxury boat.

Last weekend, after some careful searching through Airbnb, I found my own luxury boat to hire.

Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this truly unique experience, which has left me wondering why I've never stayed on a boat before - such amazing fun!

If the sea isn't for you - you may enjoy my other luxury wish-list Sydney properties [HERE].

I'd love to know WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE.

Sydney - full of surprises

Thinking the bridge climb was going to be the highlight of my trip, I unknowingly, had quite a few more surprises in store. Beware the most amazing Sydney experiences follow.

Sydney Harbour Bridge @ friendinfashion
Friday is the day in question – a fabulous (and un-seasonally) warm and sunny day in beautiful Sydney. My boyfriend and I, first thing in the morning headed to Cumberland Street to tackle the harbour bridge climb. After an hour of preparation, we were up on Sydney Harbour Bridge with the most perfect view over the harbour and the city. Amazing experience 1 – the climb is spectacular and I would highly recommend it to anyone (even those afraid of heights - well worth it)!

After literally conquering great heights, we were off to check into our hotel – my boyfriend had arranged everything so I had no idea where we were going. After a leisurely stroll through The Rocks, we checked into a luxury room at the Park Hyatt (the best hotel in Sydney – and I would hazard a guess all of Australia) – amazing experience 2. We were escorted to our room, where we were greeted with a bottle of Australia’s best, fruit platter and the most spectacular view of the Sydney Opera House.

A spot of shopping followed, then dinner preparations, let me introduce amazing experience 3. At 6:30pm I was whisked away along Circular Quay to the fabulous Aria restaurant, for a sumptuous seven course degustation.

Three hours later, heading back to the hotel, we stopped to take in the amazing views on offer – amazing experience 4. With twilight Harbour and Opera House in sight, my gorgeous boyfriend dropped to one knee, presented me with the most beautiful Tiffany set ring, and asked for my hand in marriage.

Continuous tears of happiness followed, all the way back to the hotel, where again I was surprised with amazing experience 5. A trail of red rose petals followed by fabulous cocktails.

I spent the remainder of the weekend with my fiancée shopping, dining, exploring and enjoying beautiful Sydney!
