Move over little black dress, for me, as always it is about the perfect white dress, especially for spring and summer.

Unlike most from Melbourne, colour generally occupies the largest part of my wardrobe, but there is something simple and understated about a perfectly fitted crisp white dress, and this Bec & Bridge number certainly fits the bill.

My first introduction to photographic extraordinaire, Sabine was a few weeks ago during fashion week, where we exchanged stories about living in France and our love of Parisian pâtisseries!

Over the weekend, we decided to team up and snap my absolute favourite STYLESTALKER 'Young Love' LBD (little black dress).

It was fantastic collaborating with Sabine, her photographic style is so theatrical.

Dear friends,

White dresses have become somewhat of an obsession for me lately, especially as we creep closer and closer to summer down under.

When it comes to white, I love experimenting with fabric and texture and this very sweet dress, via one of my online favourites HOW NOW MADAM COW is a fabulous combination of embroidered cotton and silk organza panelling, pretty or what!

PONY EXPRESS

Dear friends,

As with most pieces in my wardrobe, there is a story to this shirt. It is actually the result of a collaboration between two of my favourite, Aussie fashion power-houses: Aussie label SOMEDAYS LOVIN and blogger favourite, ORACLE FOX. Love or what!

On another note, as we inch ever closer to the warmer months, I can't help but start thinking about my next tropical escape. A visit to Thailand; Phuket and Koh Samui to enjoy the sun and surf is looking likely. Whilst Argentina and another visit to Vietnam and Japan are also on my hit-list. So many decisions....

Leather skirt

Dear friends,

Nothing screams winter to me more than leather!

I'd been on the hunt for the perfect leather skirt for some time now, but wasn't sure if I could pull the look off. That is until I came across this very sweet Alexa A-Line leather skirt, courtesy of the team at Viparo.

The softest leather and perfect cut, along with lovely details including pockets and pleats, Alexa was designed with me in mind.

Dirty Princess

Recently I was introduced to the sweet new Aussie label, Dirty Princess, and was lucky enough to receive this fabulous Dirty Love Baggy Boy Singlet - cute right!

The Dirty Princess range of tees and tanks are characterised by the slouchy, boyfriend-style silhouette that I love so much, and embrace bold graphics that are all about fun, attitude and just a hint of rebellion.

I couldn’t help but style back with my most regal glitter shoes.

You can leave your hat on

It’s a crazy busy week for me so I’ll have to keep it short. My life at the moment revolves around booking tickets and packing for a brief visit back home to Australia, before heading off overseas again.

I’m also busy finalising a great collection of summer/spring dresses, including this one that will soon be available for purchase at Shop Friend in Fashion – exciting right!

Luv thy trouser

It’s official, I have an unhealthy obsession with these trousers!

I purchased these a couple of months ago, from Urban Outfitters whilst touring the United States and have gotten so much wear out of them.

Whether worn dressed up, with a blazer (Up town girl, seen here) or dressed down with a tank top and fedora (Copacabana, seen here), the cut and colour is so versatile.

These trousers have quickly become a travelling wardrobe staple of mine. What is your can’t-live-without wardrobe essential?
