It isn't every day you're invited to be the face of a campaign, so I was ecstatic when Move Store invited me to be their campaign 'Move Maker'.

As a fashion and travel blogger, I am constantly connected to technology, whether it be my iphone, laptop, ipad or headphones between flights, so the synergy with Move was a natural fit for me.

Move not only specialise in premium technology, they also combine the need to be connected with an understanding of fashion. The result - a range of products that compliment and integrate perfectly into an everyday lifestyle.

You can check out my edit of favourite pieces over at movestore.com.au and if you head in store in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, you can also check out more of my campaign.

In the meantime, you can get a behind the scenes look of the shoot by visiting Friend in Fashion on YouTube (HERE).

The other day, I had the pleasure of catching up with Melbourne street-style photographer, Street Smith for a few shots around our beautiful city.

I wanted to shoot my newest fashion acquisition, this incredible leather skirt, with perforated side detailing and new leopard heels.

I'm generally always drawn to a great leopard print, especially when it comes to accessories - a great way to add a statement easily to any outfit.

MELBOURNE VS SYDNEY FASHION

A short while back, I teamed up with Sydney Fashion blogger, Rochelle Fox, for a fun project, comparing the difference in style and fashion between Sydney and my home town of Melbourne.

The adventure kicked off in Sydney, with Rochelle taking me on a tour of her favourite spots around Sydney to try and convince me that Sydney style is where it's at.

It was then my turn to flip the tables, showcasing the best of Melbourne style and culture, which wasn't difficult.

We had such a great time filming as well as comparing and contrasting the differences between the two cities.

Here's the end product, courtesy of the very creative, Saint Media Group.

Melbourne has it hands down for me - what's your choice - Melbourne or Sydney?

Dear friends,

Introducing my saviour this winter, this faux fur, 'New Heritics' coat.

Corduroy with fur accents, I'm definitely embracing my inner 70's child, in this snug as a bug coat.

Last week I was kindly invited by Betts to kick off their new blogger project '5 Ways to Wear'. I was asked to style one pair of shoes, you guess it, 5 different ways. My choice was the western inspired Taree boot. You can check out my looks and interview here.

Crushed velvet and knee-high socks, dare I suggest a resurgence in 90's fashion? Either way, this lovely little number has treated me well over the last few chilly weeks in Melbourne.

Also picked up this sweet little ring from my friends over on the West Coast (of Australia), Martini + Coz. Their beautiful range of accessories and handbags are lovingly created for the modern woman with a penchant for vintage chic - a label close to my heart (excuse the pun).

Dear friends,

As previously blogged, a couple of weeks ago, I was involved in the summer lookbook shoot for Melbourne accessory label, Sarah Conners.

Photographer, blogger and friend, Lee Oliveira snapped these street style pics of me after we were done with the shoot.

It was great working with Lee on this project and I can't wait to share the end result with you, due out around October.

Twitter followers would have already had a sneak peak at my latest purchases – these perfectly distressed jeans and gorgeous wool hat.

For me, the boyfriend jean is the perfect every-day denim option and these Billabong beauties, with colour-blocked detailing work a treat.

On a side note, I’m sad to say, that summer has well and truly passed here in Australia, with the Melbourne chill in full force.

Whilst I’m extremely envious of my friends in the northern hemisphere, who are gearing up for the warmer months, I’ve got a great excuse for a new winter wardrobe.

Cosy knits, more hats and riding boots are all on my list.
What winter fashions are you looking forward to most this season?

I picked up this lovely vintage dress a little while ago from Split Pea Vintage, and have been waiting for the cooler weather to set in, before road testing.

The print is so detailed, and the high collar is the perfect addition. I can already tell this is going to be one of my winter favourites.

Tonight, I'm off to the final runway show for Melbourne's Fashion Festival. Be sure to follow me on twitter for all the updates as they happen.

How incredible is this vintage skirt! Circa 1970's, the vibrant floral print and lace trim first caught my eye and has had a serious workout this summer.

Fell head over heels when I first set eyes upon this amazing ruffle sleeve crop shirt, via my good friend, the lovely Ms Frankie Sunshine.

If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and check out Frankie's growing online range. The vintage collection is out of control and one of the best I have seen lately!

Friend O Mine

Last time I engaged in anything close to proper biking, was a high school sports carnival where I 'rode' into a tree, hopped back on the 'rode' into my teacher!

Needless to say, when the other half suggested bikes, I was a bit apprehensive. That is until I set eyes upon, my latest two wheel purchase - this gorgeous 'bondi blue' vintage inspired Dutchie, mandatory cane basket included.

Since arriving last week, I've taken to my new ride like a duck to water. Turns out, two wheels are a fantastic way to cruise around Melbourne.

I bought this bike, along with another, which I customised myself from Melbourne-based bike enthusiasts: Mojo Bike.

Dress: 'Friend O Mine' Fabled & True
Shoes: Mimco, also seen here
Glasses: Markets, Tokyo
