A short while ago, I had the pleasure of featuring as the face of Melbourne brand, Kachel for their Autumn Winter collection.

Synonymous for exclusive prints and beautiful fabrics, Kachel is a gorgeous, wearable brand is both modern and timeless in its appeal.

This is my favourite piece from their new collection - this gorgeous contrast knit.

Not much beat classic stripes, and I'm loving midi dresses of late.

Accessories with my favourite ankle boots, and an oversized hat and you got a simple and chic outfit. perfect for a day on the run.

In other news, I'm off to New Zealand this week - this will be my first visit to NZ and I can't wait! I may even bungee jump if I can muster up the courage!

Have you ever visited New Zealand?

Acne is always my go-to for the perfect wardrobe basics.

I found this sweater while shopping online, which, with its oversized cocoon shape is a little avant-garde, but definitely a piece I had to have.

I generally steer away from oversized styles, as I tend to down in them a little, but this one was just too special to resist.

I GOT MY RED DRESS ON TONIGHT

While in Hollywood, I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with the, beyond-words-incredible, Alexa Miller. Do yourselves a favour and check out her work (here) - top shelf.

Last minute, we met at my hotel, grabbed some killer Flynn Skye pieces and paraded up and down Hollywood Boulevard, snapping the adventure every step of the way.

The funny thing about Hollywood - you can be spinning around side walks - singing Lana, swishing your red dress from side to side, whilst being followed around by a photographer and no one bats an eyelid.

I always feel completely at home in the craziness that is Hollywood. It's a place that sucks you in.

Already planning my next adventure.

The other day, I had the pleasure of catching up with Melbourne street-style photographer, Street Smith for a few shots around our beautiful city.

I wanted to shoot my newest fashion acquisition, this incredible leather skirt, with perforated side detailing and new leopard heels.

I'm generally always drawn to a great leopard print, especially when it comes to accessories - a great way to add a statement easily to any outfit.

NYFW STREET STYLE PART II

Here is a look at my outfit for day 2 of NYFW, snapped running between shows.

I'm a big fan of slogan tees, and Zoe Karssen is always a favourite of mine - as you can see here in this earlier blog post.

During fashion week, I had quite a few questions about this skirt, which is one I designed a short while ago while travelling through Bali.

A leather skirt is such a versatile piece, and has served me well through my travels.

EN ROUTE

As I'm neck deep in moving boxes, I'll keep this short and sweet.

Another travel adventure kicks off for me at the end of this month, where I'll be chasing a European summer, then on to the Big Apple, and for the first time exploring parts of South America.

Most pieces of this outfit will be joining me on my travels, including this amazing vest from my friends at Rtister, which I think will be a perfectly versatile top/dress/layering piece.

Until next time, you can follow my adventure on twitter, facebook and instagram (@friendinfashion).
